Linda Yost named Chair of Guadalupe Center’s Board of Trustees.

Linda Yost was recently elected as Chair of Guadalupe Center’s Board of Trustees.  A member of the Board since 2013, Yost has been instrumental in planning and executing Guadalupe’s largest fundraisers including 2016’s aqua held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort that raised $1.2 million, as well as this year’s Guadalupe Center Charity Golf Classic at the Vineyards Country Club.

Other officers this year include Vice Chairs Jim Ledinsky and Fred Hagemann, Secretary Joe Baughman, and Treasurer Allen Ryan.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Yost has served on a number of boards including United Way of Buffalo, Jewish Family Services and Young Audiences of W.N.Y. Locally, she has lent her fundraising expertise to St. Matthew’s House and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Buffalo, Yost’s professional career included being a local buyer for the Suzn’O Separates boutique and operating a franchise of Carlisle Women’s Apparel.

The Guadalupe Center creates endless possibilities through education in its mission to break the cycle of poverty for the children of Immokalee by providing Early Childhood Education, After-School Tutoring, and college-prep Tutor Corps Program.
