The Guadalupe Center was recently awarded the coveted 4-star rating by Charity Navigator for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that the Guadalupe Center adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way.

Immokalee children fitted for shoes for new school year

Children from low-income families took home brand-new shoes Monday as part of a joint effort between the Guadalupe Center, Laces of Love, Seminole Casino, Russell’s Clambakes & Cookouts and Snyderman’s Shoes of Naples. Around 200 children will benefit from the collaboration over the coming week by receiving new shoes and back-to-school supplies.

Buddy Day

On March 11, 2016 134 second grade "Little Buddies" from Pinecrest, Lake Trafford, Highlands, and Village Oaks Elementary Schools in Immokalee spent the afternoon at Hideaway Beach on Marco Island with their "Big Buddies."
