Special Event Volunteers

Special event volunteers make a huge impact in a short amount of time. By volunteering for one of our upcoming special events, you’ll get to meet the people you’re helping, which is quite fulfilling and inspiring. Also, you can choose an event that fits your availability.

Back to School Shoes & Supplies

The Back to School Shoes & Supplies Drive helps students begin each school year confident, focused and prepared for learning. This annual event provides more than 300 students with new shoes and school supplies! Laces of Love brings their special brand of joy and helps students select shoes that fit. Additionally, school supplies, backpacks and donations are needed to make this yearly event a success. You could pick a few extra supplies as you shop or hold a school supplies drive with friends, coworkers or in your community!

Holiday Gift Shop

Guadalupe Center’s annual Holiday Gift Shop invites families that will benefit most to select holiday gifts for their children. Each year volunteers are needed in Immokalee to help parents choose gifts for their children to wrap gifts, and to help replenish the gift areas. You can also hold a gift drive, raising money and collecting unwrapped gifts for children ages infant through high school.

Buddy Day

Accompany 2nd graders from Guadalupe Center’s After-school Tutoring & Summer Enrichment Program through a variety of outdoor activity stations at Hideaway Beach. For many students, this is their first trip to the beach, and all of our students enjoy this very special experience and walk away with memories to last a lifetime.

Host a Friend Raiser

Invite a Guadalupe Center staff member to speak to a group of your choice, which can include friends and neighbors or a civic group you participate in. In addition to a brief presentation, your guests will be invited to sign up for a tour of Immokalee and Guadalupe Center’s campuses. Guadalupe’s 13-passenger van provides group transportation from Naples, Bonita Springs or Marco Island to Immokalee and back.
