Your gift today shows students that you believe in what’s possible.

Meet Daina

Born in Haiti, Daina moved to Immokalee at just two years old. Adjusting to a new language and community wasn’t easy, but with determination and support in the classroom, she found her footing.

After seeing the impact Guadalupe Center had on her older brother, Daina applied in middle school. Mentors encouraged her, built her confidence, and helped her see new possibilities for her future.

Now a senior at Immokalee High School and dual-enrolled at Florida SouthWestern State College, Daina plans to pursue nursing and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Her journey reflects what’s possible when students in Immokalee have access to high-quality education and consistent support.
