Share a special moment when you realized your support of Guadalupe Center was making a REAL difference.
For the last 10 years my wife Pam and I host the annual junior/senior picnic at Hideaway Beach on Marco Island. Each year we take the students on a kayaking adventure as part of the days activities. Very few of the students have ever kayaked. Watching them jump at the opportunity to do something new and to see the expressions of happiness on their face as they conquer something new and different is a joy to behold. The students are always such a pleasure to be with. Every time I see them at this event I recognize we are truly helping them break the cycle of poverty as we prepare them for their next new adventure at college.
